For years, Monarch Wildlife Wayside Refuge & Park (MWWR & Park) has stood as a symbol of stewardship, conservation, and dedication to the natural world. We, the undersigned, believe that MWWR & Park deserves to be formally memorialized and preserved so its story, mission, and impact will never be forgotten.

- Recognize MWWR & Park as a site of environmental and cultural significance
- Support efforts to preserve its history and mission
- Ensure its legacy continues for future generations
MWWR & Park has touched countless lives.

Monarch Wildlife Wayside Refuge & Park S.P. is a place built with purpose, protected with heart, and shaped through years of quiet stewardship. What began as a simple wayside refuge has grown into a meaningful landscape of remembrance, renewal, and wildlife protection. Visitors come here to slow down, breathe, and reconnect with the natural world. Families walk Tribute Lane, honoring loved ones through trees, benches, and native plantings. Travelers stop to learn about pollinators, conservation, and the importance of protecting the land we share.
At the center of the refuge is the Monarch Butterfly‑Shaped Landmark Habitat Pond — a unique, symbolic feature that represents transformation, hope, and the ongoing work of conservation. This refuge has become a living memorial to stewardship, wildlife protection, and the belief that one person can protect a piece of the world for future generations.
We are asking for Monarch Wildlife Wayside Refuge & Park S.P. to be formally memorialized so its mission, history, and community impact are recognized and preserved. Memorialization would help protect Tribute Lane, safeguard the Landmark Pond, and ensure the refuge continues serving as a peaceful sanctuary for decades to come.
