A local fuel distributor reached out to confirm that they will begin offering E-85 at two nearby locations starting next month. Seeing 403 people align around this objective validates the necessity of this fuel choice for our community. Please keep an eye on these stations to ensure the transition proceeds …
We would like to show our support and potential business for the Sheetz, Shell, Circle K, and Love's fueling stations near and around the Hickory area to provide E-85 fuel otherwise known as flex fuel. This petition is to show the outstanding demand for this particular fuel in the area and to show what a great business opportunity it could be for any fueling station in the area.
Reaching one hundred signatures shows that many people in our community are eager for more flexible fueling options. This level of interest confirms that local stations have a genuine opportunity to better serve their customers.

E85 burns faster, which equals more stops for fuel, which equals more opportunities for convenience stores to make sales. Not only sales of fuel, but sales of other goods/services/lottery tickets. All while benefitting the environment.

I run an E30 mix in my focus ST, having it available closer to where I live would be great! Hate driving to statesville for it now.

I work at Cloninger Ford in hickory and most of our vehicles are flex fuel. I get asked every day where can I get this e85 and what is it? And I explain what it is and that you cannot get it locally. It's nonsense.

The more E85 stations the merrier. Less range anxiety for when I visit friends up here.
