The FC community has signed this petition to let all 9 board members know what we want and feel is best for our students and staff. Dr. Robert Motte has been with this district previously for many years and we already know that he would be the best qualified candidate. He most recently received his Doctorate of Education that this school district helped pay for! Along with holding multiple K-12 certifications he has experience as a special education teacher, AD, behavioral consultant, assistant principal, principal and dean of students specifically right here at Fort Cherry. Let's not forget his involvement with children when coaching football and basketball.
Who can honestly be a better suited superintendent than one of our very own. We claim to striv for quality education....well Dr. Motte got his start right here at Fort Cherry. An FC grad with 13 years in our district until he was pushed out. Dr. Motte has a personal interest in this district and community to better his alma mater. Dr. Motte is the one candidate that would be here for the duration and not use our great school as just another stepping stone. What better way to show our students that they can do anything they put their mind to and that our great district always has their back.

I worked under Dr. Motte at Aliquippa Elementary as the admin. assistant and he is AMAZING! Very involved, attentive, responsive and respectful. The staff, kids, and parents love him and he is the perfect choice!
As a former teacher and colleague of Bob Motte, I can honestly say that his compassion, professionalism and knowledge would make him the perfect candidate. I can’t think of any reason as to why he is being overlooked.
I cannot for the life of me figure out why this particular board will not hire one of their own. I guess that FC education he received wasn't good enough. Appalled by their disregard for one of our own. I guess we will just take it to the polls.
I have the most precious, special place in my heart for Dr. Bob Motte, it’s a moment that every mom would want , and this man here, mended my broken heart on my youngest sons first few days of kindergarten….my gratitude is infinite, and this school, community, and frankly this country could use ALOT more of Dr Bob Motte….. do the right thing, let’s get him leading this district !
Mr.Motte was my 7&8th grade basketball coach and principal towards the end of high school he was a great guy in the building to have!A local guy and a students teacher…Keep the man!

I have had the honor and privilege of working with Bob Motte in every capacity - classroom, coach, Dean of Students/Assistant Principal, Athletic Director, and Principal. I have the highest regard for Bob and hold him in the highest esteem. Bob is the consummate professional and a Ranger to the core. I've known Bob for nearly 20 years. I consider him a brother.
