I worked under Dr. Motte at Aliquippa Elementary as the admin. assistant and he is AMAZING! Very involved, attentive, responsive and respectful. The staff, kids, and parents love him and he is the perfect choice!

Dr. Motte, ‘Bobby’ to me, has been my best friend my entire life, and I’m 45 years old! The fact that he was let go in the way that he was, from his own alma mater, was the first mistake made here. I guarantee you he would still have been there today, after all these years, had the decision makers realized what an asset they had. Even with that being set aside, he is STILL showing his love for Fort Cherry and throwing his hat in the ring, letting the past be the past. Please DO NOT let him slip away this time! He is the ONLY choice here, please realize that and bring him back HOME!

As a former teacher and colleague of Bob Motte, I can honestly say that his compassion, professionalism and knowledge would make him the perfect candidate. I can’t think of any reason as to why he is being overlooked.

I cannot for the life of me figure out why this particular board will not hire one of their own. I guess that FC education he received wasn't good enough. Appalled by their disregard for one of our own. I guess we will just take it to the polls.

I've known Bob for a few years now and can proudly say that both his character and passion for his profession are at the highest that I've ever seen. What better way to indicate the success of a district other than having one of their own, born and raised, in this role? Certainly a no brainer to me and I hope the right decision is made here!

I have the most precious, special place in my heart for Dr. Bob Motte, it’s a moment that every mom would want , and this man here, mended my broken heart on my youngest sons first few days of kindergarten….my gratitude is infinite, and this school, community, and frankly this country could use ALOT more of Dr Bob Motte….. do the right thing, let’s get him leading this district !

Bob Motte has his heart at Fort Cherry. His father was a teacher at south fayette and I had him when I was a student there. His father had a passion for teaching and as being an amazing role model; Bob has that same characteristic as his father and surely must be loved and respected just as much as his father. Please let's get him back at FC. We need a strong and educated leader for our children.

I known Bobby since we played baseball at 8 years old. Not long after having our two boys my wife and I decided to move out of Florida and move back to where I grew up. My youngest son's first day of kindergarten, he was scared and didn't want to get off the bus. Bobby came over grabbed his hand and walked him into the school "and said, I know your dad and your gonna have a great time". And Bobby would do that for any kid that's the character of that man. It is so WRONG that theses board members did not vote him into the position. This is what the school district needs, an a alumni who was educated, worked, played here and wants to come back to be a part of this great school and its development academically and athletically.
