we need an issue to be brought up in the dail the price of insurance in Ireland people getting quotes on small 1 litre cars upwards of 3000 its impossible to get insured on a nice car you need to win the lotto to insure jap imports and first time drivers are being screwed over with insurance please get signing this so it gets arose at the next dail meeting

I honestly cannot believe how many people are feeling this same frustration because seeing this grow so fast makes me realize I am definitely not the only one paying way too much to just get to work. It feels like we are actually moving the needle now and I am just sitting here staring at the screen in complete shock at all the stories coming in.

Ridiculous, 31yrs of age, full licence for 12 years, full no claims bonus and just got quotes €1,270 full comp from my previous insurer
It's an absolute disgrace expecting 17/18 year old to be able to afford insurance of 5000+ on a car worth maybe 1000. Somethin needs to be done and quick because soon there will be no cars on the road and insurance companies will suffer more then
1l to 1000euro it`s acceptable like it was a while ago, but now 5000 to 1l its not fair at all.
Robbers is all they are increases of 80 percent in some cases They cannot justify this.
Must be addressed as the insurance companies are taking advantage
It's ridiculous no teen would have that money
Car insurance is a complete joke, insurance companies are making a fortune there really needs to b a regulatory put in place to control them.

i have driven all around europe, never had an accident in my life! Now i cant even legaly get to work!!!
