We, the undersigned, respectfully request that you conduct your own investigation into the district's decision to remove Bill Herzog from his position at Broadview Middle School and to provide us with an explanation as to how this could happen to such a well respected, exceptional teacher in the your system.

He is involved in so many after school activities, and helps many people. I do not understand how someone with such good character and commitment to helping others could be removed from Broadview Middle School.
Mr. Herzog is a wonderful teacher and a great man, I can’t count the times he has offered me a ride after school while freezing on the sidewalk. He is always there when you need him and by far he is one of the best people I’ve had the pleasure of knowing.
Best teacher!! What a disservice to all students!! Bill had my son and stayed in resource for 2 periods onstead of going to study hall. What student does that!! 8 years later Bill assisted him again. Danbury will make a mistake if they let him go
Bill is an amazing teacher. He has a positive influence on everyone he comes in contact with. He has personally influenced my children in middle school through all the extra curricular activities he runs. My daughter loved the Unified Sports Program. Please keep Bill at Broadview.
Bill Herzog is an exemplary human being with a heart of gold, who loves, honors, and respects his students. He is the heart and soul of Broadview and made middle school feel like a safe place when my kids were incoming sixth graders.

Mr. Herzog is the best special education teacher I have ever met. His students can now be successful members of society and better people because of him. He is funny, he is kind, and he’s teaching these kids how to be the same way. As soon as you walk into his classroom, you feel this overwhelming sense of inclusion, compassion, and love. Losing Mr. Herzog from the Broadview community is a huge mistake by Broadview and the whole district. His whole family is extremely involved in the school community. His students have become lost and angry without him, and his classroom is now pure chaos. The kids in his classroom deserve the opportunity to learn, to grow, and to be included. Mr. Herzog provides his students with that opportunity better than anyone else. This is just a loss all around. While my kids don't go to Broadview, many of my friends kids do. I have only ever heard the best words to describe Bill. My younger son will be there in 2 years and Bill is a reason why I am not so scared for him.
He is involved in so many after school activities, and helps many people. I do not understand how someone with such good character and commitment to helping others could be removed from Broadview Middle School.
