What a waste of talent, education and training, did he pick up a gun, aim it and shoot him in the leg? No, it was an accident. Do we sack all teachers if an accident occurs? God help all the Gym, Sports and Science teachers then. A ridiculous decision.
Mr West has educated all of our 3 children, not only in Physics but also in life skills. He is proof that education can be fun and enjoyable. All our children have the highest respect for him and we would support Mr West returning to S.Peters
Mr West is a fantastic teacher. There are few as good as him. Both my son and daughter did extremely well in Physics under Mr West's tuition, going back 6/8 years. He brought Physics to life, in an otherwise boring subject, according to my daughter!!!
A teacher you could go to and talk about absolutely anything about. A teacher that gave helful advice and knew that showing pupils respect would earn him respect to. He'll be back, and if he doesn't, i'll happily handcuff myself to the school gates!
In my short time at S.Peters Mr West was the teacher to teach me the most both in and outside the classroom. He brought Physics alive for me and lead me to doing it at University. I about to undergo my PGCE and I hope I am HALF the teacher he is.

Westy is an incredible teacher who has an infectious enthusiasm and passion for science - something we can't afford to lose with the current STEM professional shortage. He inspired me to study Science at Durham University after leaving S. Peters.
