The stories many of you have shared about past carnivals show exactly why this event was such a cornerstone of our community. I am currently preparing a formal letter to present our collective position to the council members. This is about ensuring our children have those same opportunities for local joy and connection.

Seeing the count approach one hundred signatures reminds me how many people hold a deep affection for the Barry Carnival. We need to reach this specific threshold to ensure the council recognizes the breadth of this community request before our next meeting.

so many memories from when i was little. sad that my own kids wont get to experience the same thing.
BRING BACK THE CARNIVAL! It was the best weekend of the year for everyone around here.
Stop wasting our tax money on nonsense and put it back into things that actually bring the community together.
The town feels so empty without it. Please reconsider this decision.
My kids have nothing to do in the summer anymore. It was such a tradition for us growing up. Bring it back.
