The current board members and office for Bristol's St Paul’s Carnival have planned and decided that this year’s event will be scaled down massively. The main event will be in PORTLAND SQ, not in the heart of St Pauls!! There are to be no Sound Systems in the streets and many more decision’s have been made without proper consultation of the local community, the member’s of St Paul's unlimited or Shareholders(including members of the community).
We want a say in what takes place on the day, what the money is spent on and what outside help we need, if any. To help us claim back St Paul's Carnival, please show your support by signing this petition.

Needs to be back in the streets. Without the bass and the vibes its just a waste of time. Listen to the people who grew up here.
St Pauls is about the streets not some gated area off in Portland Square. Keep the sound systems on the road where they belong!!
Ridiculous decision to move it. This is our culture and they are trying to sanitise the whole thing. Leave it alone.
WHO TOLD THEM THIS WAS OKAY???
If they take away the music and the parade then it aint the carnival anymore. Just a bunch of suits destroying what we built.
It's a festival not a garden fate.
