We, the undersigned, fully support the Barry Town Supporters Committee's bid to run Barry Town AFC as a democratic, non-profit, community-based football club, in order to ensure its future.
We urge the current owner of Barry Town AFC Ltd. to split the football from his other business interests and to transfer the team, its identity, history and memberships to the BTSC at the earliest opportunity – and at a realistic price.
We are fully against the malicious and unnecessary withdrawal of Barry Town football from the Welsh pyramid, and support whatever steps are required to ensure its continuation as a viable and community-led enterprise.
We believe the biggest town in Wales deserves the opportunity to guide its 100-year old football side forward - and that no one man should ever own the right to endanger its status.

I spent the morning reading through the stories people are sharing about their years spent on the terraces. It is a harsh reality to watch a century of history held hostage by one person. We are working behind the scenes to verify the next legal steps to secure the club for the fans.

Seeing this level of support for our club brings back so many memories of what this town used to be on match days. I never imagined we would build this much momentum so quickly. We are proving that the history of our team belongs to the people who actually show up for it.

Bring our club home. It belongs to the fans not some guy just looking to make a quick buck off our history.
Proper club, proper history. Dont let it die because of one mans ego.
Absolute disgrace what has happened to this club. Give it back to the supporters who have been there through everything.
Need to sort this out ASAP. Football in Barry has been ruined by greed.
Bring back our football team. It should be for the community and our kids not a business venture
