they finally backtracked and agreed to bring the game back after all the pressure. i honestly cant believe we pulled this off but the tradition is saved. thanks for sticking with me on this one.

Friday (9/27) students held a meeting with school and homecoming administration. Even with the petition they did not budge, therefore pembroke will not be bringing back the powder puff game. Thank you all for your support

All it takes is one class to ruin something. I never think this should have been taken away, but you always have people who ruin things and take them to the next level. Have respect and don’t be crazy. Have a NICE powder puff game and don’t be idiots.
It's great for the kids. I don't understand why you would ever want to get rid of it. I'm from oakfield-alabama and that's a tradition at our school having a bon fire and music girls play football and boys cheerleaders. I say you would be dumb not to bring it back.....
This is a tradition that should have never been banned. My brothers and sister were able to do it at Pembroke but I was not. I hope to see the next generations able to.
Even though by the time this could be passed, I will be graduated, I still believe classes below me should get the opportunity to participate in this event. Even though it could cause injuries, every other school we know participates in this event. It’s the HIGHLIGHT of their homecoming. I think it could really boost the school’s spirit, which has been very low the last few years.
every other school does it for homecoming and i think it would be really fun! i used to go to a different school and i moved right before i could do it and i just think our school would be really into it

I went to pembroke and this was one of the best memories I have from school. It made the 11th and 12th grade fun! Please bring it back! I would love for my daughter to have a chance to do this and make the same memories
