This petition is to overturn the North Carolina High School Athletic Association's ban on body paint. If you want to show school spirit and help overturn this rule, you'll be helping by signing this petition. Your signature will be greatly appreciated.
I started this because I remember how much body paint brought our student section to life during my own Friday nights. The stories you are sharing about your own school pride remind me why this rule needs to go. I am currently working on a formal proposal to present to the board about why these restrictions hurt our community spirit.

Seeing this kind of energy for the student section makes me remember why I spent so many Friday nights covered in team colors. This momentum proves that school spirit is more than just a rulebook decision.

This rule is way too strict. Half the fun of the game is getting painted up with the student section.
