Last year, Coach Roberts was hired as the Plano Lacrosse Association Program Director and Varsity Head Coach. Not only did he place an importance on the game of lacrosse, but even more importantly, he focused on a culture shift of promoting accountability, responsibility and discipline, all while uniting Plano Lacrosse as one FAMILY. These are values that the boys will carry with them long after their Plano Lacrosse careers are over. Additionally, he incorporated the first community service project which allowed the boys to give back to their community. This brought an awareness of Plano Lacrosse to others in our town that were not previously familiar with the organization. Under Coach Roberts' leadership, Plano had one of it's most successful seasons in its 25 year history advancing them to the state semifinals and setting them up for an equally or more successful upcoming year. It's come to our attention that Plano Lacrosse is not going to renew Coach Roberts' contract for the upcoming 2016-17 season. Let's do what's right for the boys and the future of Plano Lacrosse!
