Yamaha and KTM are still making highly competitive 2 strokes while Honda, Kawasaki, and Suzuki have decided to put these amazing machines out of production. 2 strokes are lighter, make almost twice the horsepower per cc, cost less to produce, less to buy, and less to maintain; especially if a catastrophic blowup occurred. They are also easier to work on and arguably much more fun to ride than a 4 stroke. 2 strokes are making a comeback as people are realizing how much better machines they are. Honda, Suzuki, and Kawasaki need to realize this. If this petition gets 5000 signatures I will send the information to the above mentioned companies so maybe they will consider designing and producing new 2 stroke motocross bikes.
