Fife Council finally caved and Alan is back on the job where he belongs. It is a damn shame we had to drag them kicking and screaming to do the right thing but at least our streets are getting the care they deserve again.

Fife Council is finally starting to feel the heat because of how many people are demanding justice for Alan. They cannot keep ignoring the people who actually live here and rely on his work.

Did a great responsible job. Rain or shine he was always to be seen. Very much part of Saline community
Alan is a highly thought of in the community, he was always happy and cheerful and did an excellent job, always happy to stop and answer any questions. When the rumours first started I spoke to Alan to ask if they were true he said he had approached the appropriate person to ask if the rumours where true and told no just rumours ...... He is sorely missed in the community and well we would like him back.
I support this petition. Alan has always done a fantastic job keeping our little community clean and tidy. He’s always very pleasant to everyone and his lack of presence is greatly felt.
Alan has provided an essential service to the village and goes above and beyond without prompting. He made a special trip with the roadsweep to clear debris at the entrance to the chicken farm, which had he not done so, could have caused a serious accident. He is an asset to the community. Please reinstate this man's position.
Alan petigrew. was the hardest worker I've seen in saine sweeping the pavements and rds spend hes clearing leaves also would go out his way to help people great guy bring him back fc
We need him back, he kept the streets neat and was a nice friendly person who took great pride in his work
We need our street cleaner back also some one to cut the hedges across from the shop in saline
