The speed limit on Memorial Bridge in Augusta was 35 miles an hour before improvements and then was lowered to 25, which Jon James, the Mayor Of Central Maine, feels is to slow.

I really thought this might just float around in the void for a while so seeing the momentum build up like this is totally wild and honestly a bit overwhelming. It just makes so much sense to get back to that original speed and getting so many of you on board shows I am not the only one staring at my speedometer wondering why we are crawling across.

Finally someone said it. Traffic backs up all the way to the light because people are scared to go a normal speed. Ridiculous.

its way to slow everyone goes 35 anyway. just change the sign already so we stop getting tickets for driving normal.

35 is perfectly safe. 25 is just a speed trap.
