The council needs to stay true to their Nov 2016 resolution and:
* Enforce a max 4 storey limit for Bridge Rd
* respect the history and character of Bridge rd
The height of this proposed 10 storey block is truly unsightly proportioned and distasteful. The council should take a page out of the book of 2 great cities in the world that respect architecture and building height proportions, fronting their main streets - Chicago and Washington DC - the effect is a strong sense of pride and identity. The graphic of this proposed building at 375 Bridge rd looks cheap, ridiculous, disrespectful and desperate for property developer funds. I see this as a short term financial gain, but a long term loss for Bridge Rd. I genuinely hope the council does the right thing by Bridge rd.

The heritage character of Richmond and Yarra is invaluable and irreplaceable, and should not be trashed for developer gain.

Respect the existing heritage and streetscape. It's low rise character is important to retain. Please bring in height restrictions NOW.

Respect Yarra's 4 storey low rise character. Yarra is not Docklands!
