On NO High-Rise at Yonge/Brookside
To The Town of Richmond Hill:
WHEREAS a high rise condo development, which includes 4 Towers as high as 29 stories with 1,181 units on 11.47 acre of land, is currently under review by the Town of Richmond Hill (Town file: D01-16002/D02-16012/D3-16006 by Yonge MCD Inc.)
AND WHEREAS it results in traffic congestion, overloaded school and loss of community…
We the undersigned petition the Town of Richmond Hill as follows:
Strongly oppose any high-rise development at Yonge/Brookside and
support the passing of the Interim Control Bylaw to freeze this development.

On behalf of my entire family we are against of a high rise at Yonge/Brookside! We live right off Brookside for almost 20 years and NOT planing to move!
I, a resident in Brookside neighborhood, share the same opinion with all my neighbours: this development proposal is way too aggressive, it would paralyze the entire area with no question. We all oppose it! Please follow the current Official Plan and Zoning By-law!
It is impossible to have almost 12 hundreds family in this small area, it will be a disaster for traffic, school and all public services!
This high-rise construction plan will create lot of inconvience to the local community and further burden already overloaded Richmond Hill High School. As a community member, I am strongly against this plan.
The proposed high rise condos exceed city official plan for building heights and should be banned from construction.
Strongly opposed.
No high rise on Brookside Richmond hill.

I oppose any hi rise in our West rook community. Already STL high school at the end of Brookeside and Bathurst is already bursting at the seams. Mover 500 grade nines entered this year. We cannot afford to give quaility education to our children, especially when we already pay very high taxes. We're is the quality for what we pay go, if the schools are over populated?
