The board officially decided to cancel the removal contract after seeing the response from all of you. I am honestly stunned that this worked but I am so relieved we reached this outcome together. Please keep an eye on the park just to make sure things stay peaceful for the …

I truly never imagined that so many of you felt the same way about our neighborhood safety. This level of interest is entirely down to your willingness to speak up for our community.

The safety of people and pets is more important than a specious, hypothetical legal liability. Other local HOA boards address this without a (probably incorrect) legal opinion being used as an excuse to endanger residents & their companion animals.

Agree. Recently lost an 8yr old Siamese cat to a coyote who was indoor/outdoors for years.

It's clear from the many documented sightings, attacks on pets, and the way that coyotes are roaming Brickyard Plantation without any fear or regard of humans, that the situation continues to escalate unabated. Action needs to be taken now or logic dictates it will only worsen.

I have had 2 cats undoubtedly ambushed across and into my property line. I have a small isolated area of woods behind me; surrounded on 3 sides with houses and a road. If they are behind my house (in all of the possibilities of woods), they are VERY dangerous. I FEAR being in my back yard with my young children. They prey on domestic animals and come into residences when they run short of small mammals, such as possums, raccoons, deer, etc. THIS IS A SAFETY PROBLEM NOW!

No need to wait until someone gets hurt to do something about this. I am also concerned about how this invasive species is impacting our ecosystem. It's been a long time since I've seen any of the rabbits that used to live in my yard. They can't be good for the birds of prey and other animals that compete with these coyotes for food.

I can't walk my child to the bus stop without looking over my shoulder and being nervous. Walks in the evenings have ended due to sightings and attacks on animals. Something needs to happen.
