Please help by signing a petition to urge Houston to do something about traffic on Seagler Road. There is nothing to slow down cars for about a mile between Sugar Hill to Olympia Dr except the traffic light at Briar Forest which encourages speed to try to make the light. Cars cut through to avoid the traffic on Beltway 8. The next street that goes to Westheimer is Gessner, a couple of miles away. Cars actually pass others if they are not moving fast enough! Stop signs are ignored. The speed limit is 30 mph. Residents living just off Briar Forest can barely leave their streets during peek times! We love our kids and pets!
