I would like to present to the City of Brentwood that we change the celebration of Halloween to the Saturday before Halloween. All trick or treating would be done on that Saturday. The purpose of this is to create a more family friendly celebration, minimize distractions at school and make Halloween less stressful! Many communities in the East Coast and Mid West already have taken this movement - We need to bring the City Council a petition to show the residents of Brentwood want this change and we need the City to support and promote this movement.
