Oaktree Housing Association officially transferred the keys to the community today. This building is finally ours to run for our neighbors. I am holding onto these 253 signatures as proof of our collective strength while we begin the work of managing our new space.

Branchton Community Centre is currently owned by Oaktree Housing Association. They have agreed to pass ownership on to Branchton Community Centre Association, but we need evidence that the Community agree to this. If you agree that Branchton Community Centre should be owned by the Community please sign our petition.

Seeing 250 neighbors put their name behind this hit me harder than I expected. This building has been the heart of my neighborhood for years and knowing I am not the only one who cares about its future gives me so much hope.

This is a great community centre for the kids and a big help to parents who work! They are there for breakfast clubs and summer holiday playschemes
This community does not only serve Branchton , it also gets involved in lots of services in Inverclyde . I have been on a sort of self improvement protect and was amazed at the facilities which were on offer . A very much needed source to bring people together and gain much needed self esteem.
In my time as a local authority officer and then in managing a kindred voluntary organisation, this centre has been an excellent community focus and I feel that it is assuredly appropriate that Branchton community residents should own and manage it.
Best well run centre I've ever attended wish they had something like this in port glasgow I support a lady to attend the music and dance group every Wednesday and it's brilliant all the service users love it..the guys that run this centre are worth their weight in gold
I have lived in branchton 36 years, and the c.c. has been great for the scheme and surrounding areas. Before the current c.c. it was just an old wooden hut that was always run by members of the community. The people of branchton treasure this centre as it offers a variety of educational and leasure programs for the young, old and ones inbetween. Please keep it in the hand of the community.
