Nairobi Hilton and Sarova Stanley have failed to heed our 7-day notice to unblock pedestrian walkways at their frontage. They are holding on old approvals by City Council of Nairobi which were granted in an unclear ways. The chains, barriers and blockages endanger the lives of ordinary Kenyans as they walk near the said hotels.
Unlike Fairmont Norfolk, which readily complied, Nairobi Hilton, The Sarova Stanley, IPS Building and Trattoria Restaurant are keen for a fight. And we are ready, too.
You can help our petition in many ways. #BoycottHilton and #BoycottStanley. Discourage any business at the said hotels until they cooperate. Also visit www.tripadvisor.com and make your comments about the hotels.
You can also sign this petition and communicate directly with the said hotels and other buildings. We need our children to ride cycles in Nairobi, again. We must open pedestrician walkways. We must make our city livable, again. Stop the greedy hotels with no public interest.

Hilton Hotel in particular has for a long period of time inconvenienced pedestrians who would like to use Utalii Lane. #BoycottHilton
I have been directly affected by these blockades, having to walk a long way around and risking my life by walking on the road!
Why can't we have a right of passage on paths near your premises? It is our right, and not a favour.
it has disrupted my normal movement most of the times in cbd .i always thought it should be opened up .
All businesses must learn to coexist within their localities and not alienate the very same locals!

The walkways are not part of the hotels and must be opened. I f they want to be where people don't pass, they should relocate out of CBD.
