Bloomfield Elementary Schools Need A Budget To Bring Back Foreign Language Teachers
In recent years the Bloomfield Board of Ed did away with foreign language teachers and instead purchased Rosetta Stone programs for elementary schools. The signatures below are from the families of children in Bloomfield Elementary schools who want a real teacher in the classroom to teach our children foreign languages. Please find the funds to return a real teacher to the classroom.

Learning languages has many cognitive benefits and makes the individual more employable when they become fluent. Our children deserve to be able to compete in the global workplace.

To learn to speak a foreign language, the student needs a live, experienced teacher, fluent in that particular language to guide the student through the details of a foreign language and to answer important question to master acquiring that skill.
Learning languages has many cognitive benefits and makes the individual more employable when they become fluent. Our children deserve to be able to compete in the global workplace.
