Due to lack of working phones in the visiting room area, family members aren't able to communicate with their loved ones. We are requesting that all phones be repair for future visits to accommodate, not only inmates, but family and friends that are there for their support. Although these men and women are being punished for crimes that they have allegedly committed, they still have the right to be treated like humans and reap some of the privileges that are allowed by the prison if he/she's complying with the rules and regulations set by the prison.
Because of the phone issues people are standing up waiting for the doors to open with the hopes of getting a working phone. Its different if your told outside the building that you can't come in because visits are full. When your already inside and have to fight for a place in line knowing that you weren't there before an elderly person or a pregnant woman just to get a working phone this could create problems. We would like to remedy the situation. Wouldn't you?

My brother is in there and it makes visits so much harder when you cant even hear each other. basic human decency people.
Ridiculous that families have to drive all the way there just to stare at a broken phone. Fix them already.
It dont cost much to fix a phone. Theyre people too and they deserve to talk to their kids.
So tired of the excuses. Just get someone in there to fix the equipment.
Communication is key to rehabilitation. Why make it harder than it needs to be.
