Thank you for signing my last petition for starting composting in Darwin's...it has all been leading up to this: Biodegradable salad boxes to replace the current plastic ones that I have often seen just tossed in the bin. If these get tossed in the bin it is much less worse, but to really minimise the carbon-footprint they need to be placed with food waste. This will translate to a 10 pence increase in salads. Well worth it, I think! Thanks and have a Green Day* *apologies for the corniness...ha! these boxes are often made of corn... But actually, I researched this and the best ones seem to be ones made of leaves.
