*Public sidewalks are to be code compliant and free of any obstacles and obstructions (such as existing electrical poles).
Doing so will positively impact our community's public safety & quality of life by allowing pedestrians, cyclists, and motorists to safely navigate this vital artery within the community making accessible: the Monon Trail, neighborhood life, and a thriving business corridor for residents and visitors.

I truly never imagined that so many neighbors would feel this strongly about improving our streets. It is humbling to see this momentum grow and I am just the person who typed the words while you are the ones putting in the real work.

Used to live on 52nd and it was a nightmare back then too. glad someone is doing something about it.
Fix the sidewalks for the love of god. My kid trips on those gaps all the time.
RIDICULOUS that we dont have safe lanes yet. traffic is way too heavy here.
yes please! make it safe for the kids to ride to school.
I ride my bike to the trail all the time and it is legit scary with how fast cars drive. Do it.

Finally! Try walking a stroller down this street and you will see how impossible it is. Needs fixed now.
