As a Millard student I feel like we should have better security at our schools. Yes we have security for stuff like school fights but what happens when a bigger threat arises like a school shooting. Our security needs an upgrade something along the lines of carrying a tazer and pepper spray to take down an armed assailant. Millard students shouldn't be afraid to go to school and I feel that bumping up security will help.

Tasers run around $400 each, now along with those is training, and time. To equip our security officers with those would be unreasonable, as they would barely get used. As you may know, millard south really doesn’t have sufficient funds right now. I agree or students need to feel safe. Maybe some sort of assembly, talking about safety?
