With school shootings becoming more prevalent, we need to take measures to ensure that it does not happen in our town. Currently, when visitors go to our schools, they are let right into the building. While they are required to go to the office, there is no way to prevent anyone with a weapon from entering. We need the Berkeley Heights Board of Education to invest in security guards for all schools in the town -- either as a paid position or through an outside service.
