We, the undersigned, urge Rhondda Cynon Taf County Borough Council to not only increase provision of play facilities within the Beddau Ward, but also improve pre-existing play facilities.

I honestly cannot believe how many people actually care about these playgrounds because it felt like I was shouting into a void for the longest time. Seeing this take off is just wild since the council can hardly ignore us now that so many people are actually talking about the lack of slides and swings for our kids.

The playgrounds in beddau are run down, not very playful plain boring for the kids they get bored easily, there should be a gym park area in beddau to encourage the kids to exercise, have more adventurous fun playgrounds, I hope the children's beddau get some new play areas.
My children are too scared to play in the park closest to our home due to the gangs of older children and teens congregating in the skate park, swearing and drinking. There needs to be better facilities for younger children to play and feel safe, not intimidated.
Our children of manor chase have nothing to do in this area. Yet neighbouring areas have several parks. We pay a very high council tax as well as a tax to Llantrisant community council. Yet we have nothing to show for it!!!
We definitely need a new park in beddau for all the children in our community. I have 2 children ages are 9years 2 years, I will not take them there as there is nothing there for them apart from a holding den for teenagers to push and sell drugs.. the park at present is full of drugs. I have witnessed this first hand.
Need a better park in beddau as there is nowhere to take my nephew and niece too
There is no decent play area in Gwaun miskin and Yorkdale for the children .
I would love to not have to drive to a park for my 2 sons

We have just 1 proper park in Beddau which is great if u live in Ty nant side but where are the kids from manor chase gwaunmeisgyn and the new Lewis home estate supposed to play? For me to walk my little ones to the park it's a 20 minute walk there and another 20 minutes walk back . By the time we get there my little 1 is too tired to play some days. We pay more than enough council tax and a tax to Llantrisant council. Surely we should at least have somewhere safe for our children to play.
