The appeal got dropped and we actually pulled this off so everyone can finally have their drink at the garden without any more stress. Honestly my brain is still processing that this is over but I am so incredibly happy we did it together. Keep an eye out for when …
Recently the Village Garden was granted to right to sell beer and wine to its patrons in a 5-1 decision by the planning and zoning board. Members of Menendez Community have decided to appeal that decision. If you plan on being a patron of the Village Garden Food Truck Park and would like to enjoy a beer or glass of wine with dinner, please sign below.
I really think we might hit two hundred fifty signs soon and that would be such a massive jump for us because honestly I have been staring at the screen for hours just watching the counter blink. If you happen to know anyone in the neighborhood who loves the food trucks but might not have seen this yet please just send them the link because it really does feel like we are at a pivot point where everything could actually change if we just get a few more people to click.

I am in favor of them having a beer and wine license.
It was already approved and part of their business plan. My family and I are long time patrons of this business and we know the owners well. They run an incredible business but not to mention they are caring, compassionate and community driven.

We already won approval. We deserve to have the right to serve beer & wine just like any other restaurant in St. Augustine and we will only be open until 10pm There is also an ABC liquor store righ across the street??? This argument is void.

Allow the food truck park to sell alcohol just like any other business entity. To deny them their license creates an unfair business climate.

What a great way to support LOCAL business! It’s amazing how easily establishments like salt life have really loud music and drinks everynight while at the same time putting up barrriers for the small people that actually live in the area.

We went to a food truck park in San Fran recently. Wine and beer were for purchase if you wanted. It was a wonderful experience. Having this in St Augustine would be a great addition and a new dining choice. No different than a dine in that serves wine and beer.
