I am deeply concerned about the recent actions and statements made by Battery Creek Girls Basketball Head Coach. It has come to my attention that the Head Coach has terminated Coach K. This behavior is not only unprofessional but also creates an unhealthy environment for our student-athletes.

The Head Coach claims that Coach K was terminated because she was telling parents and coaches that she was a better coach than him. He also claimed that she was bad-mouthing him to parents. We need clarity on whether these claims are true.

Sports should be about fostering teamwork, respect, and personal growth among young athletes - not power struggles among adults. These activities play crucial roles in their development and well-being; we must ensure they are conducted with integrity.

Let us work together for the betterment of our student's sporting experience.
