I am currently compiling a formal request for the installation of protective netting to be submitted to the Department of Transportation. Several local news outlets have inquired about the frequency of dangerous debris hazards on the path. I will provide a summary of their response after our scheduled review session.

ive had coffee thrown at me twice on this bridge. its terrifying and dangerous. fix it now.
Ridiculous that people throw stuff at us while we are just trying to bike to work. A simple mesh screen would stop this trash from hitting our heads. Do something about it.

TOTAL LACK OF RESPECT. drivers think the world is their personal garbage can. put up the barrier and keep the bike path safe!
