I have been hearing from so many of you who feel the same sting of exclusion that our community is facing right now. We are currently preparing a formal letter to the city council to demand an explanation for why these hurdles are uniquely placed in our path.

The momentum behind this movement confirms that our community will not accept these blatant double standards. Seeing so many people recognize the injustice of this decision gives me hope that we can finally force the city to treat our culture with the respect it deserves.

THIS ISNT RIGHT. Let the festival happen already.
My kids loved the music and the food. Such a good vibe for the community. Seems like they are just targeting this one for no reason.
We had such a blast at the last one. Really hope they change their minds and let it run this year.
Total bs. Other festivals get permits just fine. Bring back Caribfest.
Barrie needs more events like this not less. It was so much fun back in 2011. Why is the city making this so hard?
I love this event. I hope it is a go.

I attended Caribfest 2011. It was a lot of fun, great music food and people. Well run. Bring it back!
