In light of the FDA\'s proposed rule to place mercury-silver dental amalgam in a Class II category (FDA-2008-N-0163), we the undersigned submit our firm disagreement with this proposal and urge the FDA to ban amalgam outright or place it in a Class III category, which would require manufacturers to prove amalgam is safe.

The FDA thinks they can ignore us while they push this toxic mercury into our mouths. This sudden surge in support proves that we are fed up with their dangerous games and we are not going to let them off the hook.

This is common sense. mercury is toxic no matter where you put it in the body.

Mercury has no place in our mouths. My dentist didnt even tell me what he was using until it was already done. gross.
