The city finally cracked and banned these dangerous explosives for good. We forced them to put our animals ahead of these miserable noise displays and I am beyond proud of this win. Stay vigilant because we must ensure they actually enforce this new rule.
For the sake of all our fur friends, please sign this petition. Help us to get The public sale of Fireworks banned. We all know it's a terrible time of year for the animals, and it's never just one night. They can go on for weeks and causes such stress, anxiety and injury to not only the animals but for their owners too.
One hundred people have finally had enough of these explosives terrorizing our pets. Local officials continue to ignore the panic and injuries our animals suffer every single night. This is just the start of the pressure we are putting on them.

Too many animals are getting hurt, scared and suffer from anxiety. There are also people out there who intentionly use fireworks in/on animals and think it is okay and entertaining. Also children can get harmed to with miss use and supervision of fireworks.

Its not just one night anymore, these things are going off for weeks on end and causing constant stress for animals and for people with very young children...ban the public sale, the sooner the better.

So unnecesssary. They cause so much grief to animal owners. Especially horse owners. 500 kg of a flight animal become unpredictable when the sky explodes into a war zone.

Ban public sale of fire works. Completely asap.
Why add more unwanted problems for our already over worked Fire service's / Hospitals / Vets e.g. pets / live stock getting hurt or WORSE..
It's insane that we are still having this issue in 2017..

Sales to the public need to be banned. Professional displays only; at least we would know exactly when, and where these would occur and be able to adequately prepare for them.

How long does this have to go on. There have been so many petitions over the years signed by thousands of people. It is costing the country 10s of thousands in hospital admissions and on going recovery. That is not what I wanted my hard earned taxed money to go to. BAN THEM!

Either ban public purchase all together, or at least limit when they can be used eg 5,6 and 7 November. Responsible pet owners look after their animals over this time, but its hard to do this for the 2 weeks that people are often letting off over.
