Declawing is inhumane and unnecessary. Proper redirection will keep your cat from inappropriate behavior. You wouldn't mutilate your toddler for destruction so why is it acceptable to mutilate your furry family member? #ThePawProject #LeaveTheirToesAlone

Declawing is cruel and inhumane. The Buddy Foundation should require adopters to sign a statement agreeing NOT to declaw before allowing someone to adopt from them.

I am woefully ashamed to admit that I have subjected a poor cat to this disgusting procedure in another lifetime before I knew better. Never again!! When you know better, you do better.

I just learned that Buddy Foundation allows their precious cats to be declawed! I am really shocked that they allow this. I love the cats at Buddy and cannot imagine putting them through this painful unnecessary procedure for some stupid furniture!!!!!

Declawing is cruel and inhumane and should not be allowed under any circumstances. Shelters should protect the cats under their care and forbid declawing.

It’s about time we took a stand. Mary H should not be allowed to take cats from Buddy, when we all know she’ll be doing a 4-paw declaw on these poor cats. They deserve a life better than that. . . I’m ashamed of her, knowing that she’s also a Board member.
