Urban Cure believe in the power of communities driving their own neighbourhood development. As a dedicated group with expertise in community-led regeneration, we know that some communities are excluded and oppressed by the way society and structures are organised.

Neighbourhood Plan give statutory powers to every Southend resident to develop a framework that set planning policies which, decides the future of our public assets, policy development, neighbourhood plan development, implementation, monitoring, evaluating and tracking the impact of how the council delivers our neighbourhood plan.

Your views will determine the council’s planning policies and applications, identify our residents need and grant planning permission for the development we all want to see. By endorsing this community-led-regeneration plan, we can secure a sustainable steering group that is run for and by our community.
