Years ago to add the hygiene component was only a 3 month part time course run through a uni. To complete the whole OHT course is ridiculous and exemptions should be made to complete the hygiene course like previously has.
I support dental therapy course for dental hygienist who wants to develop higher level of skills in therapy as it will be beneficial for practictioners and patients
Would love to be able to upgrade to a degree in Dental Hygiene - majoring in Perio
Same for dental hygienist that want to add on dental therapy we shouldn’t have to just slid in with the current course.

I am keen to do a post graduate course work to extend my scope to include DT

Great idea, this is how I did hygiene as a therapist. Sadly let my therapy lapse as couldn't then practice in private
