Please join us in signing this petition to offer a DC program at Bastyr University, or at least an advanced standing DC program like NUHS offers that only requires 1 yr of training after you receive your ND. This would be a tremendous opportunity for those of us who do not reside in Washington. Most states do not have a lot of our physical medicine modalities within the scope of practice for an ND. This would open the door and bring phys med and primary care opportunities for a lot of NDs in other states. After all, let's not forget our founder, Dr. John Bastyr, was an ND/DC!! Please join us in reaching more people across the US with our amazing medicine!!
I started this because I felt alone in wanting a dual-degree path but your messages have shown me that so many of you share this same dream. It is humbling to see how much this resonates across the country and I am currently working to compile your stories so they can be presented properly to the administration.

I am honestly a bit overwhelmed by the way this conversation has grown lately. This momentum belongs entirely to the community members who have felt this need for so long. It is humbling to see so many people coming together to advocate for this change.

i have always wondered why Bastyr didn't offer a program like this. Especially for California bound people.

Thank you for taking time to consider this program. I would sign up as soon as it became available. I transferred to Bastyr from a chiropractic college because of Bastyr's culture, reputation, and scope. I love chiropractic work and think it would an important addition to remember and follow Dr. Bastyr's legacy.

this would be a great opportunity for Bastyr and its students, expanding the toolbox so it can be used in states where ND might not be licensed but DC is, as well as those inlicensed states to give the doctor more deliverables to ensure greater success !
