The council has officially approved the gymnasium for Beach Road. It is heartening to see our community vision for a more active local precinct become a reality after so many months of advocacy. We will continue to observe the construction process to ensure that the final result reflects the thoughtful …

I am signing this petition to show my support for the proposed gymnasium for 22-24 Beach Rd Kingston Beach. I believe the gym will be a valuable cultural and social asset to the village precinct and have tremendous flow-on benefits to the local economy and community.

The promotion of a healthy active lifestyle should be strongly supported by the community and its representative council.

With rising healthcare costs for all Australians, it is unfathomable that we even have to debate whether to open a facility that is focusing on improving peoples health is allowable. We need more bespoke, community-focused gyms to foster healthy habits and a strong support network for communities all across the country.

Would love to see a gymnasium, a business that offers community connection through health and fitness rather than more eateries or shops selling products. We are overwhelmed with cafes and would adore a gym that offers group fitness rather than a gym that provides equipment only

We need in the community a gym. This will be a good incentive for the young ones specially, and getting them out of their chair after playing for so many hours in front of the computer.

I fully support having a strength training gym in Kingston. The lifetime benefits of strength training are clearly evidenced, it works for all ages to help prolong life and increase happiness.

Not only will a new gym liven up Kingston and promote a healthier lifestyle, but it will bring business to the area with increased foot traffic passing by all the excellent hospitality venues. A much needed improvement to a great area!

I believe this is a great idea, we need more family run local gyms. Would rather put money on a familys table then in a corporate jockys back pocket.

A bespoke gym is something the community has a demand for.

This would not only provide a facility for physical development and strength building but also for personal improvement and community building.
