Having lived in the Netherlands where they have gym equipment in most parks, I can honestly say that it is always used and encourages people who maybe don't feel comfortable in a gym or people who can't afford a gym membership to exercise and stay healthy.
I think that more money needs to be spent to encourage people to take responsibility for their health and well being, and in turn this would have a positive effect on, and alleviate our already struggling NHS.

Excellent idea! Please put some on the gardens next to shah jalal medical centre. Ideal location for residents to take full advantage

Open-Air Gym equipment is a really good idea. With relatively few green spaces around Aldgate East it'd be great to see some in parks round here.

we want a gym and leisure facility for the local community. This would be very beneficial for all the resident young and old. additionally it would encourage the local residents to take part in excercise and keep fit with the help from dedicated on site members.

The benefit from regular exercise is multifaceted; this is a great idea.
