City Hall keeps ignoring us but this wave of support shows they cannot hide from our demands anymore. We are building real pressure to force their hand on the Flamingo Square project and they know it.

I live in the area, and have always thought that the area around the intersection of King George and 108 Ave. would be a great location for small independent art galleries and cafe's. It is much needed and am happy to see other people share the same vision.
I support this project. I have lived in this area for 40 years and this project will help give Whalley the boost it needs to have people want to visit the area and spend their dollars. This is a positive move forward for the area.
Whalley has been in desperate need of an arts community forever. Delighted to think that this is going to happen.
This would be a wonderful opportunity for all
The area where Flamingo Square is going to live, currently has no buildings on it. There is nothing to tear down. The Flamingo Hotel is closed down. Maybe you were thinking of that?
This neighbourhood really needs more positive elements such as this space.
Whalley definitely needs a major face lift!

I've lived in Whalley for over 20 years, it's long overdue for a revitalization in the arts and culture of the area. This has my full support!
