The area where Flamingo Square is going to live, currently has no buildings on it. There is nothing to tear down. The Flamingo Hotel is closed down. Maybe you were thinking of that?

I support this project. I have lived in this area for 40 years and this project will help give Whalley the boost it needs to have people want to visit the area and spend their dollars. This is a positive move forward for the area.

I live in the area, and have always thought that the area around the intersection of King George and 108 Ave. would be a great location for small independent art galleries and cafe's. It is much needed and am happy to see other people share the same vision.

Thanks Dalia! We have a meeting Monday May 29th at the Whalley Legion, 7-8pm to share ideas and see where this can go. Come on out and join us. The media will be there to hear what we are up to. The more people we have the more support the city will give us, because they'll see that we are serious about following through.
