By Signing below, I, a resident in or around Greenwich Village, indicate my support for Ars Nova Theater I, Inc.'s on-premises Full Liquor License Application for the Greenwich House Theater!

Ars Nova is applying for a liquor license for our new venue at the Greenwich House Theater and we need to show the Community Board that there is broad support for our application from people who live close to the venue and are impacted by this decision. We think theater is best consumed with a glass of wine, bottle of beer, or other cold beverage of your choice- and if you agree, please sign! The bar would be open for paying theater-goers at limited times, and we have a successful & safe track record operating a bar at our 54th street Hells Kitchen theater home.

The following undersigned residents of the premises and/or surrounding buildings (in and around Greenwich Village) support the issuance of an On-Premises FULL LIQUOR license serving Beer, Wine, and Liquor to the following applicant: Ars Nova Theater I, Inc. for the Premises of Greenwich House Theater at 27 Barrow Street, New York, NY 10014.

The business is a theater, and drinks will be available indoors only to audience members who have purchased tickets, with the hours of operation of 30 minutes before curtain for each performance, and for 15-minutes during intermission. Likely this would be between 1:0-4pm for matinees on weekends, and between 6:30-9:30pm on evenings.

This petition was created September 2018.

If you have any questions or concerns, please call Ars Nova at 212-489-9800!

I work at Greenwich House and do not see a problem with a liquor license for the theater.

As an actor, and a resident of the West Village, thrilled to have Ars Nova move here. I fully support their petition of a liquor license.

The arrival of Ars Nova is wonderful news for the neighborhood! They have handled the bar at their uptown address responsibly, and the availability of the bar is a welcome and civilized amenity for the audience.

I've been a neighborhood resident since 1990, and a fan of Greenwich House, of Ars Nova and of local theaters including Cherry Lane and Rattlestick. I enthusiastically endorse this application and this wonderful outcome for Greenwich House Theater as a boon for theater and for the West Village. Nothing could be nicer.

As a West Village resident of nearly 18 years I would welcome Ars Nova with open arms. They bring culture, creativity, and a community with them. We should be so lucky to have them join our community. The liquor license they are applying for should be granted.

I have been to several Ars Nova productions and I'm happy they are moving closer to my home. A great addition to the neighborhood and I support their application. Thank you!
