To Whom It May concern: This is a letter / petition addressing the announcement of the new proposed pay-period moving from 1st and 15th of the Month to the 7th and 22nd, starting July 31st. Please know that changing the said pay period from the original date to the new proposed date is going to cause the vast majority significant financial distress. We are for the most part a 1 income head of household employees and this change; at such short notice, will cause us gross financial duresse and endless catching up with vital obligations. We have auto debits and automatically deducted payments and withdrawals that require more than 30 days to change and alter so we can fall back into timely pay-outs. It is also Summer, and those of us with children under a certain age are paying out for childcare that otherwise we would not have during the school period. If you do not intend to remain in the 1st/15th period; we beg you to please consider giving us more time to get our finances in order and move the projected pay-roll disbursement change until September 30th so we may all be better prepared for this change.
