At a recent community board meeting Aria Winebar located at Perry Street has been unfairly targeted as an unwelcome part of this neighborhood. After serving this community for over seven years and being part of its growth through Superstorm Sandy until the celebration of equal rights, Aria has been here.
Aria has been chastised for operating as a bar and not a restaurant and has been forced to adhere to the strict operating hours of 11am-10pm last call on weekdays and 11am - midnight on weekends. All this whilst most of our neighborhood restaurants continue to operate until 2am. The Aria family feels that we are being unfairly singled out.
Help us to continue to thrive as a business on Perry street in the west village
By signing this petition you are sending a message to the community board that as a member of this community you are stating your will to grant our restaurant normal operating hours of 11am-midnight on weekdays and 11am to 1am on weekends (fri-sun).

The amount of support rolling in lately is heavy and humbling. Seeing the neighborhood turn up for us helps carry the weight of these long weeks. We are exhausted but we are not stopping now.

Ist of all it's definitely a restaurant can't imagine not going there to eat ,secondly ,I've watched these people do nothing but positive actions to make this a better community
This is such a wonderful place in the neighborhood. Warm and friendly people run Aria and it's so inviting. The last thing I want to see is Aria disappear over this discriminatory action. In fact, I'm looking forward to visiting when I am in the city in August. I'm plugging for you, Aria!
Let them stay open a little later , business is tough enough without this discrimination
This is a great place, food and service are prime. I am supporting this business and I am sinning to let Aria operate till 2am as every other restaurant wine bar in the area.
I believe that Aria has been a force for good in this corner of the West Village and should not have its hours curtailed. It's been a boon to the community and a welcome, steady outpost in an area hit with empty storefronts.
