The school board officially canceled the planned fee hike this morning. Your signatures put us in a position of strength that they could not ignore. Keep a close eye on the upcoming budget reports to ensure they stick to these cost cutting commitments.
we protest the increase in school fee every year at ISM. These are difficult economic times in the Middle East including Oman. We strongly recommend that the school authorities take necessary steps to reduce cost by taking appropriate cost cutting measures and reducing unnecessary expences and also by increasing the efficiency of existing process rather than increasing the school fee.
We hit 100 signatures today. Post this link on your Facebook page right now and email our school board members to demand they look at their own spending before raising our tuition.

Schools keep increasing the fees on some pretext or the other. It’s even more expensive than the US or Europe. The schools here need to have some kind of cap , and should not become a case of welfare for the wealthy.

I have my 3 kids studying in ISM, at present condition it is difficult to manage normal fees, all of a sudden again hike in the fees
Like me many parents are unable to balance this hike. Kindly reduce

A lot of expatriates are going through difficult times in face of no salary raises and increased utility expenses, it's very very unfair on the part of School management to hike the fees. Wonder maybe they are living in a different planet

I strongly disagree with school fee hike as there is no justification on this. We wish to know what more expenses schools have this year from last year. Our salaries are stagnant for more than two years but school fees grow yearly..

Mathematics
Fee hike = 4 rials/month/child
No. Of children in ISM = 8000
Total = 4 x 8000 = 32,000/month
Per year ISM gets = 12 months x 32,000
= 432,000 rials.
Where is this money going ??????
