The Appalachia Skate Kommission / Sports Complex committee are asking the Norfolk Southern Corporation to donate land (Wise County GIS Real Estate Parcel ID # 021369, beside of the Bullitt Mine Complex) to develop a Sports Complex for the citizens of Appalachia and surrounding areas. The complex is proposed to host a regulation size baseball field, full size basketball court, tennis courts, walking track, picnic areas, and skatepark.
