Today's youth needs a safe place to be "Youth" - would love to see a community embrace this age group and let them feel like they are a huge part of the community and not a nuisance!
The Rec Board tried to do this some time ago and ran into road blocks every where.... The issues were... Insurance and possible lawsuits...so if you get this good going but it has been looked at in 2012....
I would be willing to do fundraising for a project like this. I am sure there are many other people I know that would be similarly interested in fundraising for this as a way to help the youth of the area have a safe place to ride or skate
This would be great!!! My hometown had one and my boys loved it!!. My husband is a bmx'er from the 90s. He was in the movie RAD. Having a skate park will get these kids out from in front of tge electronics,and making friends!!
We need this kind of park. My teenager has been told by the police not to ride on the sidewalk or the park and the road is too narrow and well travelled.
I think this would be a great idea for kids to have around!! Gives them something to do and there are a lot that love skating and skateboarding!!
We desperately need a park nearby.

This definitely needs to happen. I used to drive to South Park every weekend because that's the closest one to me. This will get kids out of the house and something to do other then play video games all day. Let's make this happen.
